This is my NaNoWriMo novel for the year. We were supposed to type the entire month and my word count goal was 40,000 words. We've done this challenge for two years prior and this year, I pushed myself all the way up to fourty thousand words. It goes in as a learning target and it encompasses four whole learning targets.
Personally, I think that this unit was pretty fun overall, even if most of my classmates disagree. It gives you a good challenge and the feeling of completing it on time is very fulfilling. If I had to do it again, I would probobly try to stay on track right away so I wasn't rushing at the end. It just hikes up the stress levels when you procrastenate. I think that I'm doing pretty good, and my plot line is a lot more complex than it was last year.
